How Do You Ask for a Kidney?
The fear, worry, and concern over asking someone to donate a kidney can be overwhelming. It's for this very reason that many CKD patients choose not to even pursue living donation.
So how DO you ask someone for a kidney?
Answer: You don't.
The more likely scenario is that someone will hear about your need and offer to donate. It's not about asking for a kidney or going on a wild-goose chase after potential donors. It's about letting as many people as possible know of your condition and then letting your donor find you.
